The Airport City Hospital at Accra is planned as the first private tertiary Hospital in Ghana and fill a huge vacuum in the healthcare market in the country and the sub-region, the market for the high quality, international standard medical services which do not exist in Ghana and the West African sub region.
The Hospital would have 400 beds and spread over a Total Built up Area of approximately 5,70,000 Sq. Ft .It will also offer optimum relationship between and within the departments for economy of physical stress to the patients and hospital staff. The simple internal circulation with various functional zones meeting around central core.
The Hospital would be equipped with state-of – the-art diagnostic and clinical facilities to provide best in class treatment. The building will comprise a modern and esthetically planned synthesis of functions and services.
The proposed Hospital would accommodate 120 Outpatient consultation rooms, 12 OTS and 112 ICU Beds and 220 In-patient Beds which caters to Single Deluxe, Twin Sharing, Suites and Presidential Suites.
The entire hospital shall be centrally air conditioned and equipped with other building services like fire detection and protection, nurse call system, PA system surveillance. Hospital is self-sufficient with its own laundry, CSSD and kitchen and centralized medical system.
